I discovered my passion for ceramics while seeking a tangible way to find a creative outlet out of academic burnout. Today, I try to bring that intense fascination and a sense of wonder into every piece, merging my cultural heritage with the modern world to create authentic, nature-inspired works.

The name Artegalata was born from my days spent beneath Istabul's iconic Galata Tower--a landmark rich with cultural lore and bustling life. In a small cafe under its shadow, I would observe the stream of people rushing by, yet find moments of solace and meaning within that lively chaos. This blend of history, legend, and everyday human connection continues to fascinate me and inspire what I do, reminding me that even in life's busiest moments, there is beauty, reflection, and shared stories waiting to be embraced.

During my academic pursuits, I often felt the weight of working alone, which inspired my to create a space where people can share, learn, and grow together.

My workshops are about building a warm, supportive community--one that explores not just ceramics but also different artistic mediums. By slowing down and celebrating each other's creativity, we find joy in the process itself.

Embracing my naturally "messy mind," I find meaning and purpose in my works--an earnest attempt to find inner peace and joy amid life's chaos. That is why I now choose to live and create at a gentler pace, putting genuine values at the centre of everything I do. By easing off, I find more meaning in each moment, every piece of clay I shape, and every experience I share.
